Welcome!

Since September 2009 UCANN has been providing a forum for UConn area newcomers, members, and local people to exchange valuable information and experiences, spend time together, have fun, make friends, find intellectual stimulation, and develop a sense of belonging within the University of Connecticut community. It is facilitated by volunteers.

UCANN is a secular group. Out of respect for the religious and cultural diversity of our members we discourage the promotion of any particular faith or religious belief during our meetings. It may be that discussion of our diverse beliefs arises naturally during conversation, but we strongly discourage any attempts to proselytize.

Because it is a support system and social network, the group is informal and flexible. There is no membership fee.

Please join the UCANN email list to get updates and information. Some activities will happen less frequently than others.
